Get ready for an unforgettable week with "Survival Sisterhood in the Cedars," scheduled for August 23-29 near the enchanting cedars of Sandpoint, Idaho. Hosted by me, Karie Lee Knoke, alongside Jessie Krebs—both of us forged through the fires of the "Alone" series—this unique survival course is designed to empower and educate women in the art of wilderness survival. Why This Course Is Unique: -Blending Skills and Backgrounds: Experience the synergy of ancestral skills and military precision. I bring deep-rooted ancestral knowledge into play, while Jessie integrates tactical skills honed from her military background. Together, we cover a spectrum of survival techniques from two dynamic perspectives. -Comprehensive Skill Sets: Dive deep into a range of survival skills. From fire crafting that connects you to the elemental power of flame, foraging for nature’s pantry, and primitive fishing techniques to traditional archery and crafting cedar baskets. Jessie will lead sessions on navigation, knots, and constructing emergency shelters—skills that are crucial in any survival scenario, and so much more! Event Details: Dates: Join us from 4 PM on August 23 until noon on August 29. Location: Set in the natural beauty of Sacred Cedars, near Sandpoint, ID Transportation: Driving: Directions will be given upon registration Flying: Nearest airport is Spokane Int'l Airport. I’m offering a personal shuttle for those making their journey to and from the airport. Daily Itinerary: -Morning Rituals: Optional silent meditation or sit spot activities to start the day centered and calm. -Interactive Teaching Blocks: Morning and afternoon sessions filled with hands-on learning and skill-building. -Free Time and Evening Gatherings: Reflect, swim or socialize during free periods, and engage in deeper learning with evening sessions and story telling around the campfire. About Your Guides: Karie Lee Knoke: A wilderness skills expert and founder of Sacred Cedars Wilderness School, my life is a testament to living in harmony with nature. My background is steeped in the traditions and skills passed down through generations. Jessie Krebs: Head instructor at O.W.L.S. Skills, Jessie brings a robust blend of military training and wilderness therapy experience. Her expertise spans essential survival tactics, including advanced navigation, knot tying, and quick-setup shelters. Camping and dinner meals included.
