Service Description
May 18th, 10am-2pm Spring is the time to collect food and make medicines. There is so much food in the forests right now, more than what’s in the garden! Plus, many medicinal plants as well. I’m offering a 4-hour class where we will explore the plants and classify what is edible, medicinal, and utilitarian. An edible plant may be edible but is it palatable? What would you eat in a survival situation? Or is it absolutely yummy and irresistible?! In this 2-week series, we will be exploring 2 different eco-systems to see what’s on the menu. Our meeting locations will be in the greater Sandpoint area in Bonner County. Bring: appropriate clothing for outdoor weather (rain or shine) plant journal camera snacks water
