Why FaMily CaMp?
In a world full of screens and distractions, kids and families are craving real adventure and connection.
Imagine playing the survival game Alone building shelters, foraging for food, and testing your skills in the wild. Now imagine doing it together, as a team.
Last year, Biko and I created teams. His team versus my team. It turned it into a friendly competition filled with learning, laughter, and teamwork. Who's team do you think won? Who's team do you think will win this year? ;) Come play with us and find out!
At Family Camp, we bring the Alone experience to life but with a twist. You’re not alone out there. You’ll join forces with your family and other campers to learn, compete, and have a blast.
No experience needed just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure. We create a safe, supportive, and fun space where everyone can grow, learn, and make unforgettable memories.
Come as you are. Get curious. Play hard. Build bonds that last.

What if your fAmily sTeppED aWay from scReens... And into The Wild?
Imagine a place where your kids aren't just watching survival shows they're living the experience with you.
Where parents play, kids lead, and the whole family learns hands-on skills while making memories that will outlast any vacation.
This is Family Camp—a unique opportunity to unplug from devices, connect with nature, and rediscover each other in the woods.
Under the ancient Sacred Cedars, you’ll learn survival skills, laugh around the fire, swim in the river, and build the kind of confidence and closeness only nature can offer.
Whether you’re a total beginner or an outdoor-loving crew, Family Camp is for you.

What if I (or my kids) aren’t very strong or outdoorsy? No worries! Strength is relative, and your mindset is your most powerful tool. This experience is about curiosity, learning, and connection—not competition. If you’re comfortable camping for a few nights, you’re ready for Family Camp.
-
Can we bring our RV or Camper? We have one spot open for a small RV (class C) or Camper. This spot is open for those with special needs. Otherwise, I highly recommend camping outdoors under the Cedars trees and enjoy the full experience of the outdoors.

We don't have any camping gear. Do we need to go buy some?If you are unable to bring your own camping gear, reach out to us. We have limited camping gear available for rent and prioritize those who are flying. What’s the cancellation/refund policy?Emergencies happen and we fully understand. However, Due to the costs of securing instructors, staff, travel expenses and supplies, we need ample notice at least one month before camp starts. So, we offer this solution for you. Cancellations made before one month before camp, will be fully refundable. However, you can opt-in for a credit for a future course, such as next year's Family Camp. Cancellations after one month before camp, will receive a 50% refund and 50% credit for a future course of your choice, minus $250. However, you can opt-in for more credit, instead of the refund, for a future course, such as next year's Family Camp. Cancellations less than one week before camp, will not be refundable, however, we will issue a credit for a future course of your choice, minus $500, such as next year's Family Camp.

How strong and in shape do we need to be to attend Family Camp?“Strength” is relative—and at Family Camp, it’s all about mindset and presence, not physical performance. Activities are designed to be accessible to families of all ages, body types, and fitness levels. From toddlers to grandparents, we’ve had campers from every walk of life join us. As long as your family feels comfortable camping for a few nights and is excited to participate at your own pace, you’ll be just fine. There’s something here for everyone—whether it’s exploring nature, joining group games, crafting by the fire, or just relaxing under the trees.
