Going backpacking at six months old, strapped to my father's back, it's natural to say that I've had a life-time of experiences in the outdoors. Growing up in a small town, playing in the woods and making shelters, I dreamed of someday walking off into the mountains with nothing but a knife to survive. As adulthood took over, I found myself in a meaningless livelihood in Seattle. I eventually escaped the turmoil of the corporate world, and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, USA, where I could live the life I really wanted, being closely connected to nature.
