Using his formal training in wildlife ecology--and thousands of hours in the field--he strives to reconnect people to their most natural surroundings through the croak of a raven, the howl of a wolf, or the trill of the sparrow in our own backyard. George's in-person and online programs on animal language have opened the door for more than fifteen thousand participants to find powerful meaning and connection with the places they call home and anywhere they travel. His new book, Eavesdropping on Animals: What We Can Learn from Wildlife Conversations, makes these lessons available to a worldwide audience and shows us how much a part of nature we already are. George's educational work and impressive repertoire of animals impersonations have been featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and the TEDx stage, and his nature-inspired bronze sculptures can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States and around the globe.
